The B-belt was the successor of the A-belt, and was active flewn from late 1961 until 1969, the year Bell sold all of his personal flight gizmo's to Williams. One of the characreristics was the under armpit steering sticks, better corset and slight imporved motor and plumbing. The uniforms ware changed from the black "fireman coverall" to slick yellow unifirms. The yellow uniforms later on were switched for the white ones. Four B-belts where build, three survived and are on display in the USA:
